DeWanda Wise is protecting a mysterious girl from a murderous preacher in the Western thriller film , Killing Faith . Wise stars in the Shout! Studio film, along with Guy Pearce and Bill Pullman Written and directed by Ned Crowley, Killing Faith is described as a “genre-bending Western” that follows a woman in the 1849 Arizona territory, who, alongside a rugged, troubled doctor (Pearce), wants to get a little girl in her care help. The girl, however, seems to have supernatural powers that could be evil. More on the plot of ‘Killing Faith’ As you can see in the trailer, just her touching a horse can cause it to die. The girl’s powers are seen as a curse to most who comes in contact with the girl, including a preacher (Pullman), who starts a mission to capture and kill her.
