With this year’s WWE SummerSlam in the rearview mirror, a couple of things are for certain. For one, John Cena is absolutely the fans’ favorite again after a show-stealing performance during night two. But Naomi is also cementing herself as a heel that’s nothing to play with after a classic show opener on night two as well. After cashing in her Money In The Bank briefcase at WWE Evolution, Naomi once again became the Women’s Champion, this time holding the World Title iteration. Due to the nature of her interrupting an ongoing match with Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley, a rematch was set for SummerSlam. It pitted all three ladies, and it didn’t disappoint. It has to be stated that for about the last year or two, the women of the WWE have really put on amazing triple-threat matches.
