Hello everyone, Mike Maze here with your forecast update for this Monday evening. Our WRAL WEATHER ALERT DAY will last at least through 11PM with showers and storms likely with a cold front moving into the area. Damaging wind gusts are the threat most likely with the storms, but hail and maybe an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe threat should roughly cease by 10PM but a few showers and storms may linger through 1AM. We will have clearing skies overnight with cooler and less humid air by daybreak. Lows in the upper 40s-mid 50s.
