Appalling new footage has emerged of a giant 'shantytown' of ramshackle dwellings lining the roads of an American city. Despite being situated in the wealthiest part of the United States, hundreds of temporary dwellings constructed of wood, tarpaulin and metal have been erected along a main road, leaving locals utterly horrified. The city in question has in recent years become a byword for progressive politics - as well as crime and homelessness. Both its mayor and district attorney now face recalls as fed-up locals tire of living in a city where one in every 30 residents had their car stolen in 2023.
