Hundreds of cops in Charlotte showed up to honor one of the cops killed in Monday's shoot out with felon Terry Clark Hughes. Hughes, 39, fired at least 100 rounds from a high-powered rifle at officers who were outside the home he was in as he was wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of felony fleeing. He was shot dead during the exchange. The shooting left four dead. Two officers, Samuel Poloche and William Elliot, were with the North Carolina Department of Corrections and Thomas Weeks was a deputy U.S. Marshal. The final victim, Joshua Eyer, was with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. A processional to honor him began on Friday at CMPD headquarters and make it's way to First Baptist Church in uptown Charlotte for the memorial service.

A purported Russian military training ground was seen being hit by multiple explosions typical of an ATACMS strike in footage captured by a drone flying high above. For the first time since 1803, two different broods of cicada will emerge across more than a dozen states, mating and laying millions more eggs, starting in May.
