Mendocino to welcome Japanese sister city delegation for 31st student exchange
On May 9th, a biennial tradition resumes in Mendocino as a bus load of Japanese school children and adult chaperones arrive for their Mendocino Miasa-Omachi Sister City visit. This marks the 31st year of the Mendocino Miasa-Omachi student exchange and the 45th year since the formation of the relationship. Hundreds of students, from both sides, have participated in the exchange.
