Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand yesterday visited three Demerara communities to deliver supplies following a promise by President Irfaan Ali.

Anns Grove clinches draw after two-goal deficit

KFC Elite League Anns Grove overcame a two-goal second-half deficit to draw 2-2 with Den Amstel when the KFC Elite League continued on Thursday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.  Following a scoreless first-half interval, Anns Grove surrendered the lead in the 47th minute as Akeem Dublin found the back of the net.  Anthony Benn then doubled Den Amstel’s advantage as he etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 76th minute.  However, Kemroy Alfred commenced the come-from-behind result as he reduced the deficit in the 79th minute.
