US imposes sanctions on Brazilian high court judge

(Reuters) – The U.S. imposed sanctions on Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes today, accusing him of authorizing arbitrary pre-trial detentions and suppressing freedom of expression.
On the afternoon 14th July, the third day of the Third Test match – the first Day/Night Test in the Caribbean – at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica, the West Indies succumbed (surrendered, might be more appropriate) for 27 in 14.3 overs, to lose the game by 176 runs, and the series, 0 – 3.
