Georgetown became the heart of global environmental diplomacy yesterday as Guyana hosted the inaugural Global Biodiversity Alliance (GBA) Summit, bringing together heads of state, policymakers, Indigenous leaders, private sector stakeholders, scientists and conservationists in an effort to reframe biodiversity as both a development and economic priority.
