Gold to silver trio charged

-granted $600,000 bail each The three persons who earlier this week allegedly attempted to smuggle over 240 ounces of gold to the United States  pleaded not guilty to the joint charge when they appeared before the court yesterday, and have each been placed on $600,000 bail.

Corriverton Market repairs expected to be completed by month end – Parag

The repairs on the Corriverton Market, sections of which were ravaged by fire late last year are expected to be completed by the end of the month, according to Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Sonia Parag who visited on Wednesday to check on the repairs and listen to concerns from vendors.
