Thanks to a coalition of birth workers and anti-racist organizers called Doulas For All Coalition (D4A), Washington state will soon offer access to Medicaid reimbursement for birth doulas for the first time.

Morehouse College students gathered in a campus auditorium to protest the college’s decision to invite Biden to deliver the commencement address next month. The dissatisfaction extends beyond the student body, with alums and officials from Morehouse, Spelman, and Clark Atlanta University urging the college to rescind its invitation.

AIPAC and its co-conspirators spent nearly $7 million to defeat progressive Donna Edwards because she was not sufficiently pro-Israel. Instead, in a safe Democratic district, AIPAC supported the more moderate Glen Ivey, who was the State Attorney for Prince George's County.
