Twenty-five-year-old Prince Ian Jackman appeared in court on Tuesday charged with the murder of Albouystown horse cart operator Chandradeo Kumar Singh.
Jackman, a labourer of Lot T72 North Sophia, Greater Georgetown was not required to plead to the charge, particulars of which said on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Hill Street, Albouystown, while being in company of others and armed with dangerous weapons, to wit guns, he murdered Singh in the course or furtherance of a robbery.
Acting Chief Magistrate Faith McGusty remanded Jackman to prison following his appearance at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court. The case will be called again on May 7.
