Christopher Bryant
Artistic Director

 
Christopher Bryant is a native of Trenton, Kentucky, and a 2014 graduate of Stillman College.  He began his undergraduate studies in music at Fisk University in Nashville Tennessee, studying organ with Dr. Anthony Williams.  Other principal organ instructors include Steve Wiggins and Jeff Binford.  As a church musician, he has served six denominations throughout the south and northeast.  In 2014, he became the youngest person appointed as Minister of Music at the Historic First A.M.E. Zion Church in Brooklyn, NY.  In addition to his church work, he has served as a music educator for New York City Department of Education, Atlanta Public Schools and Henry County Schools.  He currently serves as the Vocal Music Teacher and Chamber Choir Director at Medgar Evers Preparatory School and  Director of Music for the Vanderveer Park United Methodist Church.  In addition to being Artistic Director of the Brooklyn Contemporary Chorus, he is also Director of the Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir.
