The maternal healthcare team at Princess Margaret Hospital in St Thomas is celebrating the arrival of $2 million worth of life-saving equipment donated by Ka-el Geewax. The donation includes a cardiotocography (CTG) machine that will significantly enhance monitoring for mothers and babies during pregnancy and childbirth, making deliveries safer and healthier. The event was attended by Ka-el Geewax, healthcare advocate; Kameisha Thomas, hospital administrator; Dr Kimberly Martin, head of obstetrics and gynaecology; Nurse Sydonae Hall, registered midwife; Dr Tiffany Watson, senior registrar; and Sister Karen Cargill-Raymond, acting deputy matron.
