Guyana Open Tennis Championship
Defending champion Gavin Lewis and Seanden David-Longe will contest the final of the Men’s Open division following semifinal wins in the Guyana Tennis Association Open Championship.
Staged at the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue, Lewis defeated Sandeep Chand in straight sets. Lewis took a 1-0 lead as he won the first stanza 6/2. He then secured the win after prevailing in the second set 6/1.

On the other hand, David-Longe overcame a 2-4 first set deficit to prevail in straight sets 2-0 against Benjettan Osborne.
David-Longe captured the first stanza 7/5. He then downed Osborne once again in the second set by the identical score.
Meanwhile, Chand secured his place in the Men’s 35 & Over divisional final, besting Aubrey Younge 6/1, 6/1.
