AUSTIN — Cancer incidence rates are climbing for both males and females under the age of 50, with African Americans experiencing the most significant increases, according to new data.

In recognition of National Cancer Prevention Month and Black History Month, Dr. Michael Aziz is raising awareness about these concerning statistics and sharing his knowledge in his new book.

Dr. Aziz emphasized the importance of early detection and prevention strategies, particularly within communities most affected by these rising rates.
