Fayval way ahead of Phillips

Fayval Williams is on course to deliver a crushing defeat to her People's National Party rival Venesha Phillips in the September 3 general election, a Gleaner-commissioned Don Anderson poll has revealed.
The Jamaica Labour Party candidate has a strong lead over Phillips, who is trailing Williams in the very Papine division of which she is councillor.
Williams wrested the St Andrew Eastern seat from the then incumbent Andre Hylton in the 2016 general election and is expected to expand her margin of victory this time around.
