In the wake of Chadwick Boseman's death, fans have been going to social media to share the lasting images of the actor who made a global impact through his work and personality. One of the most shared clips of the Black Panther icon is a video of the actor surprising his fans during a segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon during a February 2018 visit to the show. As fans expressed their appreciation for the actor, Boseman hid behind a curtain and suddenly popped out to surprise each one of his admirers.

"I can't express how much it means to me and the community and my family," one man, Darren, said standing in front of a poster of T'Challa. “Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for all that you've done, for really being a hero that we really need in a time like this. Thank you so much.”

The two men then exchange a warm hug and smiles as the actor jumps out from hiding.

"My King, my king, my king,” Darren said, making the Wakanda salute while greeting his hero.

Another fan gasped as the Black Panther legend suddenly appeared in front of her.

"I cannot tell you how much it means to have you step into the role as our king and be holding it with such grace and poise and joy," the fans said before the cultural icon p.

One man, who claimed to watch Black Panther four times, said his wife was getting too excited when Boseman showed his chest. The two men and Fallon then shared a laugh after the actor came out from hiding.

A mother of a young man thanked both the actor and Barack Obama for being an example to her son.

"That's way too much praise," Boseman said when he surprised the mother and son. "You are a gorgeous family."

One woman, who described herself as a creator and entrepreneur, had been explaining why Black Panther is so significant before the Howard alum popped up.

"There are so many of us out here who are trying to create great things," she said. "I was so inspired as someone who wants to make movies one day."

T'Challa then appears in front of the woman and asks a simple question.

"What type of movies do you want to do?" he said as the woman suddenly lost her voice.

Another fan said the Marvel film means a lot to him because his father is African. He then admitted that he watched the movie on bootleg after seeing it in theaters.

"Wait. You gonna bootleg my movie?" Boseman said when he jumped out.

A fellow Howard University graduate also appeared in the clip and expressed that she is proud to have attended the same historically Black college as the actor.

"I'm so, so, so very proud to say that a Bison is T'Challa," the fan said.

One woman said she never thought she would seen an action movie, but Black Panther changed her perception. Another fan gave an ode to the women in the movie, saying they showed their strength in their own terms.

The 43-year-old actor died at his home on Friday after he had been battling colon cancer since 2016, his family said in a statement.
