Where is the food plan, PM?

THE EDITOR: Once again I make an urgent appeal for the Minister of Agriculture and the Prime Minister to give the nation a step-by-step plan as to what exactly is being done about food security and about lowering the food import bill.

Is anyone taking note of the global events that are occurring? Unfortunately, some events are not being highlighted on the major news networks.

People in Sri Lanka and Africa are suffering, just to name two countries.

Are we heading towards a global food shortage? Has anyone been taking note of what agricultural economist Omardath Maharaj has been talking about since the pandemic – and even before?

Sigh!
