The National Assembly's Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) postponed its meeting with Eastern Cape Cogta MEC Xolile Nqatha after he informed the committee that he hadn't seen the presentation he was supposed to make.
Measures to ensure consequence management against municipalities with investigations against it, was the topic under discussion.

After a delayed start to the meeting due to technical difficulties on the Eastern Cape's side, Nqatha informed the committee that he and his head of department had different presentations.
The committee briefly discussed this and decided to postpone the meeting.
Committee chairperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa said they took a dim view of the development because their schedule was very full and they could have used the time to "slaughter" another issue.
"This must never happen again," he said.
He asked the MEC and department to provide the correct information by the end of the day.
Scopa will also conduct an oversight visit to the Eastern Cape in the coming weeks.
