Former United States President Barack Obama will campaign in Atlanta this Monday in a final push to flip the Peach State for the Democrats for the first time since 1992. Details of the rally have not been publicized. Obama’s visit will come after President Donald Trump and Senator Kamala Harris visit Georgia Sunday.

Obama will stump in Atlanta as he helps make the closing argument for Joe Biden, and the state’s two Democratic U.S. Senate candidates, Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock, in addition to Lucy McBath in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District and Carolyn Bourdeaux in Georgia’s Seventh Congressional District.

Obama’s visit comes on the heels of former Vice President Biden’s visit to Atlanta last Tuesday and Kamala Harris’s visit on Oct. 23.

President Trump will visit Rome, Georgia for “The Make America Great Again Victory Rally” this Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at Richard B. Russell Airport.

Meanwhile, Harris will stump in Gwinnett County Sunday.

The latest RealClearPolitics average of polls show has Joe Biden in a 0.8 percentage point lead over Trump. Also on Monday, Georgia Democrats are hosting a “Flip Georgia Blue” car rally at the old Turner Field parking lots to support Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock. The event is set for 4:30 p.m.

This is a developing story.
