Shop until you drop at the Opulent Garden

The Opulent Garden is a seasonal pop-up market that has fast become a haven for indie beauty brands, luxury lifestyle goodies and proudly South African fashion.

The market will be held this Sunday at the Silvermist Wine Estate, and will showcase some of South Africa’s top boutique brands in clothing, accessories, arts and crafts, and lifestyle. 

Featured vendors include artist Gabriele Blumberg who will unveil her latest collection of mixed media,  acrylic and oil paintings, drawing inspiration from her travels across the globe, and the new Gabrielle Swimwear stylish collection, made from Repreve fabric which is produced from 82% recycled plastic bottles. 

Food-wise there will be baked snacks from Woodstock Bakery, food treats from Black Box Coffee and G&T cocktails from Inverroche’s Gin Bar. ShenFM will provide live music along with up-and-coming singer Margaux Fouche.

Pull into the Suidoosterfees Drive-Inn

The Suidoosterfees is back and this time features a star-studded line-up to entertain people from the comfort of their cars at the classic drive-in theatre.

Named after the iconic “suidooster” wind that sweeps through Cape Town every summer, the annual festival celebrates local modern culture and heritage in a fun and vibrant environment.

The 2020 line-up includes PJ Powers and the Tygerberg Children’s Choir, Klopse Jol!, Marc Lottering, Francois van Coke, Early B, Jonathan Rubain and others.

The Galileo Open Air Cinema

A summertime favourite with locals, the Galileo Picnic is a fantastic venture that combines a picnic on the lawns of some of the most beautiful venues in Cape Town and a classic movie shown on a large outdoor screen.

Learn to surf with Atlantic Surf

Become a true local and learn to surf with private or group lessons hosted by Atlantic Surf.

Surfing and SUP lessons are offered for all levels from beginners to advanced, and all equipment is included. Each lesson is adapted to the surfing level of the individual or the group.
