With low-overnight temperatures upon us, Sacramento County and SacRT, as well as the city of Sacramento will be opening warming centers for unsheltered citizens. See below for operating days and times for each location. Protective facial coverings will be required and provided to all visitors. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash or contained in an animal carrier at all times. Blankets, snacks and water will be provided.

County Warming Center Locations: 

  • Dec. 31 – Jan. 2: DHA Annex (1725 28th St) 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  • ​Jan. 1 – 2: Creekside Adult School (2641 Kent Dr) 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

City Warming Center Locations:

  • Dec. 31 – Jan. 1: City Hall Lobby (915 I St.) 8:00 p.m. – 8 a.m.
  • Dec. 31 – Jan. 1: Hagginwood Community Center (3271 Marysville Blvd.) 8:00 p.m. – 8 a.m.
  • Dec. 31 – Jan. 1: Capitol City Seventh-Day Adventist Church (6701 Lemon Hill Ave.) 8:00 p.m. – 8 a.m.
