Rolling Out Magazine appoints Rashad Richey as president

ATLANTA—Multimedia powerhouse Rolling Out is pleased to announce the selection of Rashad Richey, MBA, Ed.D., Ph.D., as its new president, effective immediately. Rolling Out is a multimedia print, digital, and online streaming company serving as a trusted and influential source in entertainment, business, lifestyle, society, culture, and politics for more than 20 years. It is the largest Black-owned, free print urban publication in the country. As president, Richey will build on the success of the organization and oversee the launch of the company’s television streaming platform and advertising agency.

Richey is a respected Emmy-nominated and award-winning media veteran with more than 20 years of experience as an executive leader, media personality, content developer, political analyst and strategist, and community advocate. He previously served as Editor-At-Large for Rolling Out and is currently the host of his midday show on News and Talk 1380-WAOK, The Rashad Richey Morning Show. He is also the host of Dr. Rashad Richey: Indisputable which airs on the TYT Network, home of The Young Turks. Rashad, who is a frequent political and social commentator on MSNBC, CBS News—Atlanta, and The People’s Station V-103FM, also served as the political director and chief strategist for the Democratic Party of Georgia.
