Benson 10U defeated their younger 9U team who are playing up a division, 40-0. Early in the first half, 9U Bruin CJ Ireland had a break away run, and it appeared that 9U Bruins would score the first points of the year against the undefeated 10U Bruins, but CJ Vala of the 10U Bruins tracked him down at the 15-yard line with a touchdown saving tackle.

Renton Rangers 31, 5 Star 0
The 10U Renton Rangers improved their record to 2-2 on the season. The Rangers were led on offense by Jadiah Pennington’s three touchdowns, while teammate Julius Cartwright scored two touchdowns on the day. Defensively, the Rangers had an entire team that contributed to the shutout win.

Led by quarterback Tre Johnson and great team defense, the Panthers recorded a shutout win over the Spartans.

Heir 20, Jr Huskies 6
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this highly anticipated matchup to gain early season momentum and a run at the playoffs was officiated by coaches from the Jr Huskies 8U squad and played as an official league game. 10U Heir running back DJ Mack had a huge day as he scored three touchdowns to lead his team to victory. Jr Huskies running back Leonidas Vaofusi also had a stellar performance with100 yards rushing and one touchdown.

9U Heir 52, 253 Heir 0
Heir’s Landon Barnes rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, while teammate Jayden Hernandez scored two rushing touchdowns to lead their offense to a season high 52 points. Defensively, Heir was led by Kima Faagai as they posted a shutout win.
