Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro had a moment on The View Wednesday when the two co-hosts couldn’t control their laughter over Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s “tanning testicles.” The segment stemmed from a Hot Topics chat about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who was skewered by Carlson for sounding “like an MSNBC contributor,” but quickly strayed into NSFW territory.

Co-host Joy Behar pointed out that while Carlson is busy ripping McCarthy, last week he was focused on an entirely different topic. Behar told her co-hosts, “Tucker, last week, he was all over the tanning of his testicles to make sure he was a man,” referring to Carlson’s viral testosterone documentary in which he proposes red light tanning as a form of “bromeopathic” therapy.

After Behar’s comment, Hostin attempted to steer the conversation back on track and said that Carlson’s dig about McCarthy emphasized the importance of the House Speaker role. Claiming Republicans have no political agenda, Hostin said Democrats need to “start talking about what the Democratic agenda is.”

Hostin said that while President Joe Biden has expressed interest in canceling student debt, it’s not the topic being widely discussed amongst his party. She asked, “Why aren’t Democrats talking about that?,” before quipping, “What we’re talking about is, you know, Tucker Carlson’s tanning testicles.”

Navarro then chimed in, telling the panel, “Now we know why Tucker doesn’t like Latinos and African Americans,” to which Sunny replied, “Yeah, [a] little envy.”

When Navarro added, “brown envy,” the the panel began to laugh, and Behar even lost track of her next question as her co-hosts cracked up around her. Hostin and Navarro joyfully clinked mugs in the moment, and Hostin turned to cheers with co-host Amber Ruffin, who was seated beside her, as Navarro said, “Who can blame him?” slipping in one last joke about Carlson.

“We missed that story last week,” Behar said, referring to Carlson’s The End of Men special. “Leave it to us to resuscitate it.”
