Help Crime Stoppers Solve These Homicides

The Virgin Islands Police Department continues to investigate past homicides.

Arsdale Ferdinand, 40, was found dead in Estate Whim, St. Croix, on Nov. 27, 2021, after the 911 Emergency Call Center received multiple calls reporting shots fired on Pine Drive. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the body of Ferdinand lying on the ground near a truck with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Police say Ferdinand was ambushed in front of his house and shot multiple times by an unknown individual(s).

David “Donut” Payne Jr., 30, was found dead outside his residence in Anna’s Retreat, St. Thomas Sept. 27, 2021. Payne was a father of four children, a son, a husband, and a brother. He was an elementary school teacher at the Ulla Muller Elementary school.
