‘That Hat Though’: Tami Roman’s Embellished Accessory Leaves Fans Shook

Tami Roman graced the ’Gram with a new hairpiece on Thursday, June 4, and fans were totally digging her accessory. The former reality star of “Basketball Wivesposted a selfie on Instagram that showed her modeling her work-from-home ensemble.

Donning a black camisole and black baseball cap that read “MAKE HIP HOP GREAT AGAIN,” the 50-year-old television personality struck her pose by gazing at the camera. To make her eyes pop, Roman added a hint of winged eyeliner and wore neutral-toned makeup. Her twisted braids, which contained subtle pieces of brown hair, extended past her shoulders. The New York native sported gold hoop earrings and suggested in her caption that she was preparing to attend a remote meeting.

Roman’s hat referenced President Donald Trump‘s 2016 campaign slogan “Make America Great Again.” Roman, an actress from “Saints & Sinners,” has been in the music business since the early ’90s. The mother of two was one of four members in the former girl group “Reality.” The group was created in 1993, but the name was changed to “Female” in 1994. The women, who were signed under Mercury Records, scored a feature on the soundtrack album for the 1995 historical film “Panther.”

Roman seems to be taking her music career seriously. During season 8 of “BBW,” she launched her rap career as her alter ego Tatiana Trill. Just like Roman, Trill lives an extravagant lifestyle and is considered to be a boss.
