The United States President, Donald Trump has spoken on what
he has learned from his presidency.
The American leader made the disclosure Tuesday night at an
ABC News town hall in Philadelphia.
Citing his personal loss to the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump
said he has realized that life is frail.
“I learned that life is very fragile. I knew people that
were powerful people, strong people, good people, and they got knocked out by
this, and died. Six people. It was five until about two weeks ago. Now, it’s
six,” he said.
The president’s younger brother, Robert died exactly one
month ago.
On black people, Trump insisted that his administration has
“tremendous African-American support.”
He noted that the situation prior to coronavirus was the
“best single moment in the history of the African-American people in this
country.”
On police killings of blacks, Trump blamed the problem on
police officers he described as “bad apples.”
The president also responded to a question on his
indifference to wearing masks.
“A lot of people don’t want to wear masks…there are people
that don’t think masks are good”, Trump said.
