Lil Scrappy and His Wife Bambi Recreate ‘Lose Yo Job’ Viral Video and Leave Folks In Stitches

Lil Scrappy and his wife Bambi aren’t really comedians, but they’re funny enough to be. They really should be charging overtime.

The “Richardsons” clearly don’t take themselves too seriously. In a June 7 Instagram post, the couple remade a viral video that’s come to be known as the “Lose Yo Job” remix. For those unfamiliar with the clip, it shows a woman questioning a security guard as to why he’s detaining her. Her protests then turn into a song and dance in ad-lib fashion. “Why are you detaining me? You about to lose yo job,” the woman says before singing, “You about to lose yo job. You about to lose yo job. Get this dance! You about to lose yo job ’cause you are detaining me for nothing.”

Scrappy played the role of the security guard and Bambi acted as the female detainee. Bambi, who’s wearing a sports bra and a pair of shorts, placed her hands behind her back and started lip-syncing the trending “Lose Yo Job” song. She swayed from side to side with her pregnant belly poking out.

Scrappy stood beside his wife with a grin on his face. He wrote in his caption, “I come home and gotta deal with this s–t lol @adizthebam more videos from family fun coming soon. But bam shaking that belly like ol girl fr, chill tho my baby in there lol”

Instagram users had a field day over the pair’s video. One person wrote, “I’m dead lol that voice fit her it look like she say sum liket 😂.” A second person added, “😂 watch this song is about to be a new dance challenge. Y’all are too funny.” Someone else told Scrappy and Bambi that they needed to “post this on the Shade room 😂😂😂 y’all killed this s–t!”

The “Lose Yo Job” viral video was recorded four months ago and posted on Facebook. The woman, Johnniqua Charles, seen dancing and singing in the clip, recently told Buzzfeed News that her life has started to drastically change since the video has gone viral.

“I’m just overwhelmed, and I’m such a humble person [that] to see that, it’s just amazing to me,” said Charles. “I’m just glad that it’s something so positive.”
