The South African Weather Service issued a yellow level 1 warning for wind, leading to localised reduced visibility due to blowing dust and sand, which is expected over the Richtersveld and Nama Khoi Municipalities in the Northern Cape.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the same two municipalities.
