Since 1937, the U.S. Presidential Inauguration has taken place at Noon EST on January 20th.

In the year 2021, this day falls on a Wednesday and Insha’Allah it will occur without issue.

With COVID-19 the Inauguration plans were looking quite different with face masks and social distancing, but now with the civil unrest, added security measures of 7 feet fences with barbed wire and extra police and National Guards are in place.

Due to the civil unrest, Muslim Journal advises you to be aware of your surroundings.
