In the clip released Wednesday, viewers see the exact moment when the 53-year-old singer was told her sister Tamar, 43, had been hospitalized.

In a confessional, Braxton tells the cameras that 2020 has been a “year like no other” for their family, following her baby sister’s mental breakdown.

“Toni called me and she told me that Tamar was rushed to the hospital because she tried to commit suicide,” recalled Evelyn Braxton, the family matriarch.

“I was stunned, and really numb,” noted Towanda. Sister Trina added, “There was no way to prepare for this.”

Toni, the oldest of the Braxton siblings, then appears again on the screen, telling viewers, “It just seemed like a dream, a bad dream.”

Following the drop of the super teaser, Tamar took to Instagram to again slam the network for using season 7 to exploit an incredibly painful moment in her life.

“After waking up to that disgusting trailer…F**K @wetv and whomever else participating for using my pain for their pleasure and ratings,” she wrote. “Don’t miss my exclusive TELL ALL on my girl @tamronhallshow next week..at some point this abuse HAS to STOP and P.s. I’M NOT FILMING FOR THIS SEASON! THEY ARE DOING THIS WHILE I’M NOT ON THE SHOW #SCUMBAGSH**.”

As theGrio reported, Tamar said that her suicide attempt was due to the pressure and humiliation of her portrayal on the show and the revelation of personal issues that she felt weren’t handled respectfully. Although her then-boyfriend David Adefeso made the 911 call and said he supported her fully despite her ‘mental health’ issues, the two are now estranged.

Braxton Family Values returns on WE tv on Nov. 5.
