Where: Beasley Coliseum, Pullman, Wash.

TV/Radio: Pac-12 Network/AM 790

Records: USC 11-3, 3-0 in Pac-12; Washington State 5-9, 0-3

USC latest result: USC opened Pac-12 play with three consecutive wins for the second season in a row with an 80-67 win over Washington. Boogie Ellis again powered the Trojans, scoring 16 of his 27 points in the final 10 minutes after USC fell behind by three. It was the third game in a row that Ellis has led USC in scoring, averaging 24.7 points in that span. USC blocked 10 shots in the game, half of which came from center Joshua Morgan.

Washington State latest result: The Cougars lost a heartbreaker to UCLA on Friday night, falling 67-66 as D.J. Rodman’s game-winning 3-point attempt missed with two seconds remaining. WSU held the Bruins to 36.2% shooting from the floor while making eight 3-pointers to stay competitive with the 11th-ranked team. But the Cougars were eventually undone by 14 turnovers and UCLA’s 21-fo-22 free-throw shooting.

USC basketball at Washington: What you need to know

Matchup to watch: T.J. Bamba vs. Ellis. Both are high-scoring, streaky guards. Which one catches fire, and which one can limit the other when matched up on defense, will play a big factor in who wins this game.

USC trend to watch: The Trojans have committed double-digit turnovers in five straight games, including 36 combined the past two contests. This trend has not burned USC yet as it remains on a seven-game winning streak. But USC can’t expect to get away with such a high number of turnovers forever without losing a game.
