Eskom load reduction: Affected provinces on Sunday, 9 August
A total of five provinces will be affected by load reduction on Sunday, 9 August.

Eskom will be implementing load reduction across five provinces on Sunday, the power utiity has revealed.
Several suburbs in Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal suffered a period on darkness on Saturday.
Eskom load shedding on Sunday
Free State is set to join the four after the power utility announced that it would be implementing load reduction in the Lejweleputswa and Thabo Mofutswanyana districts.
Eskom said this is to avoid overloading its network as well as avert possible damage to infrastructure in areas prone to network overloading.
The load reduction will take effect from 17:00 to 22:00 across the affected provinces.
“Customers should not log a fault during the load reduction periods and should treat all installations as live and dangerous.”
