On Tuesday the FF Plus said the Western Cape should consider secession from the rest of the country and become an independent state.

It was only a matter of time before the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) reacted to the Freedom Front Plus’ (FF Plus) suggestion that the Western Cape should consider secession from the rest of South Africa in its own best interest.
EFF member Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to social media on Wednesday slamming the FF Plus for what he believes is a ludicrous suggestion.
Ndlozi said Cape Town will never be an independent state. He went on to say that a Boer republic is a failed dream and that it will never happen!
“There will never be a white ran country anywhere in Africa again!” he said.
On Tuesday, leader of the FF Plus in the Western Cape Dr Corné Mulder addressed the Cape Town Press Club about the possible future political options available to the people of the Western Cape.
“A strong theme that came to the fore in the discussion is greater autonomy for the Western Cape as well as a word that is heard more and more in the province: ‘secession,” the FF Plus said in a statement.
“It is becoming increasingly difficult to live under the ANC’s corruption and incompetence and so many people from the Western Cape are seeing secession as an appealing option,” it added.
The FF Plus said it’s possible for the province to be built up as a model for South Africa and Africa; a place with economic growth and progress that will ultimately eradicate poverty.
What is the rationale for this solution according to the FF Plus?
