A biker died last evening following a collision with a pedal cyclist on Mandela Avenue.
The dead man was identified as Leon Wilkins of ‘B’ Field, Sophia. The accident reportedly occurred at 6 pm when Wilkins crashed into cyclist, thirty-one-year-old Seon Cook.
Wilkins was said to have sustained head injuries and was said to have died at the scene.
Cook is a patient at the George-town Public Hospital nursing head injuries as well as lacerations about his body. He is listed to be in a stable condition
