The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms with hail, damaging winds and heavy downpours over the interior of the Eastern Cape, eastern parts of the Northern Cape and western parts of the Free State and North West.
A warning for disruptive rain leading to flooded roads is expected over Gauteng, the central and eastern parts of the Free State and North West, western Highveld of Mpumalanga and western Bushveld of Limpopo.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Laingsburg Municipality in the Western Cape.
