After successfully hosting Ku Mingoli Bash in Lilongwe last month, Sound Addicts Live brings Zambian artist Yo Maps to Comesa Hall in Blantyre next month in a gig christened Yo Maps Live in Concert.
The concert will take place on September 24 2023.
A press statement from Sound Addicts Live says the Yo Maps Live in Concert is aimed at giving people maximum entertainment.
“Yo Maps Live in Concert boasts an exceptional lineup that promises a musical journey like no other,” the statement reads.
Yo Maps, who is still basking in the glory of collaborating with the country’s artist Eli Njuchi in his track ‘Yabaya’, currently enjoying airplay, will be performing in Blantyre, having also entertained people during Ku Mingoli Bash.
The Zambian artist’s other songs include ‘Kondwa’ and ‘Aweah’.
“We are inviting people to step into a world where melodies will take centre stage,” Sound Addicts Live Director Shadreck Kalukusha, a renowned sound engineer, said.
Amapiano star Zeze Kingston, who is also trending, and award winning R& B artist Kell Kay will spice up the concert.
Kell Kay’s performance at the Yo Maps Live in Concert show will act as a warm-up as he looks forward to his 10th anniversary celebration of his music at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe in October this year.
The celebration will feature Nigerian afro-pop singer Ayra Starr.
