CHRISTMAS MESSAGE: Repent- Solutions Barbados

Something strange is happening this Christmas – and it has nothing to do with the COVID-19 restrictions. We are carrying on as normal, totally oblivious to the approaching tidal wave of dreadful consequences. For the uninformed, Barbadians have agreed to reject God.

How could we have made such a fundamental national change so easily? Because this generation of Barbadians does not value Barbados enough to protect it. They think that the Almighty God is not real, but if He is, then He will do neither good nor harm. We have essentially become a nation of agnostics who want to play the hypocrite by celebrating the birth of God’s Son. How did we get here?

Tolerant Barbadians

Barbadians are normally tolerant of all religions. Any person or group could worship whatever they wanted in Barbados, without persecution. But as an independent nation, we made it clear that the majority acknowledged the supremacy of the one and only true God, the Creator of all that is seen and unseen, the Father of Jesus, the Messiah of all people who will return to judge us all.

We have only Christian national holy days. At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus’ birth. At Easter, we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. Our extreme radicals find that offensive. They think that the God who delivered our fore-parents from slavery, and our parents from colonialism, did no such thing. He is merely a useless relic of our colonial past and an embarrassment to their new Republic.

The devil is a liar

Our extreme radicals have decided that their gods of African spiritism must be elevated. However, Jesus, whose birth we are celebrating at Christmas, explained that there is only one true God. All others are of Satan, who influences his followers to do wrong. Hear Jesus in His typical politically correct manner.

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44).

Which God are they serving?

We have not heeded Jesus’ warnings. Instead, the Government has decided that there must be no difference between God and Satan – both must be officially recognised as equal gods in the new Barbados. To demonstrate which god they are serving, our partisan religious leaders have assented to this lunacy – with their silence.

To whom are our political pastors leading their congregants to worship? To whom do they refer when they say Lord? Jesus has already judged them: “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” (Matt 7:21). They are in so much trouble.

Whose works are they destroying?

John states: “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8). So, whose works are our political pastors building and whose are they tearing down?

There will be a reckoning. We do not serve a dead god of stone, but the only Living God. He does not share His glory with any other, for there is no other God besides Him. Our parents and grandparents normally attribute their long life to the providential care of God. But this generation of Barbadians dismisses their analysis and rejects their conclusions.

Eating and drinking

The devil is now the official Government-sanctioned god of Barbados. We have all consented to this recklessness in the same manner that we consented to Barbados becoming a republic – by our silence.

Rejecting God is foreseen not to end well for anyone. Therefore, all Barbadians should prepare for the ruinous consequences in 2022 – unless we repent now. Based on our past behaviour, we can expect a lot of eating and drinking – but no repentance.
