Congratulations to our red carpet colleague, Alicia Quarles. We have had the fun of knowing her and seeing how this shining star continues to rise.
Alicia’s wide-ranging talents have led her to anchoring live from several Academy Awards; covering many White House Correspondents’ dinners, field reporting from several Super Bowls and overseeing breaking news coverage on events such as Hurricane Sandy and the death of Whitney Houston. Additionally, she is a regular on MSNBC, has served as a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, The Insider and Daily Mail, and has anchored on Headline News and hosted several specials on VH1 and Fuse.
Alicia isn’t just an on-air personality. Her writing has been featured in some of the largest online sites, newspapers and magazines in the world including The Washington Post, Google and Yahoo News, USA Today, TIME, Essence and People. Quarles previously worked as a correspondent for E! News (NBC). During her three years with E!, she conducted one-on-one interviews, reported live from various events, wrote for the website, broke news and booked many of her own segments.
