The Hawks Talon Gaming Club, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, is continuing to provide free entertainment for the city during their offseason.  The esports club will launch a new series titled the Talon Takeover to provide gaming fans a virtual streaming experience like no other. The first Talon Takeover stream, which was announced by the club on Tuesday, will take place at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 19 and feature some of the hottest entertainers and influencers hopping on the sticks.

“We are thrilled to announce this one-of-kind content series as we continue to engage with the next generation of basketball fans and provide them an unforeseen level of access to their favorite celebrities,” said Hawks’ Vice President of G League and 2K League Operations Janice Koon. “Fans will not only be able to watch the stream to learn more about their latest projects, but also join us online and play against their favorite celebrities in the popular video game.”

The Talon Takeover series will start with a bang as club’s Head Coach Wesley Acuff will be joined by one of Billboard’s top hitmakers 24kGoldn on Thursday night. The club will maintain the star-powered momentum as the series is expected to have appearances by hip-hop artist Lil Eazzyy and comedian/hip-hop artist Ron Suno. Additional future guests continue to be announced as they are scheduled.

The Hawks Talon Gaming Club will also pay homage to local Atlanta talent as well. Atlanta native Emmanuel Lawrence, also known as Manni Supreme, will be the official host of the Talon Takeover series. Mannie Supreme is a student at Georgia State University where he also serves as the school’s Live Entertainment Director. The series, which launches this Thursday, will be available for viewing for free on the team’s official Twitch channel.
