200 new COVID-19 cases, four more fatalities

Jamaica has recorded four more COVID-19 deaths, increasing the tally to 1,211
Those who have died are a 69-year-old man from St Elizabeth, a 26-year-old man from Clarendon, a 67-year-old man from Westmoreland, and a 26-year-old woman from Clarendon.
Meanwhile, there were 200 new cases with ages ranging from three months to 97 years, pushing the total to 53,839 with 5,138 being active.
Of the new cases, 110 are women and 90 are men.
Kingston and St Andrew account for the majority of the new infections with 71 cases being recorded, followed by St Catherine with 30 and then St Ann with 26.
A total of 1,938 tests were conducted.
The country's positivity rate stands at 18%.
In the meantime, there were 26 more recoveries, increasing the total to 47,127.
Some 216 persons are in hospital with 54 being moderately ill and 37 critically ill.
Nine persons are in government quarantine, while 47,013 are at home.
