Wednesday's weather: Ja well no fine, and cool day

Fine and cool conditions are expected throughout the country on Wednesday, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your province:

It will be a fine and cool day in Gauteng.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Mpumalanga will be fine and cool to cold, but warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo will be fine and cool, but warm in the Lowveld.

The North West and Free State will be fine and cool.

In the Northern Cape, it will be partly cloudy in the west at first, with morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but cold in the southern high ground.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

The Western Cape will experience fog patches over the interior and the West Coast in the morning, as well as over the north-eastern parts and in places over the Cape Metropole in the evening, otherwise partly cloudy and cool becoming fine from the afternoon except along the south coast.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly in the south, otherwise light to moderate southerly to south-westerly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will be cold in places in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy west of St Francis with light rain in places early morning. 

The wind along the coast will be moderate fresh westerly, but strong between St Francis and Algoa Bay area early morning.

In the eastern half of the Eastern Cape, it will be fine and cool, but partly cloudy along the coast, becoming cloudy in the east in the evening.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly, becoming southerly in the afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal will be fine and warm but cool in the west, becoming partly cloudy from the south in the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming southerly to south-westerly from the south spreading to Kosi Bay in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
