Gushing over her grandchild! Marjorie Harvey is giving all of her snuggles to her new granddaughter Joey Iris Harvey! Marjorie shared an adorable photo on Instagram that showed the baby girl resting on her chest while the two were taking a nap. The 55-year-old fashionista looked gorgeous with her patterned sleeping mask and her hair running wild. Baby Joey also wore the cutest pink onesie and placed her head right under Marjorie’s chin in the shot.
Marjorie’s son Jason Harvey announced in a July 2 Instagram post that Joey arrived “safe and healthy.” Jason and his wife Amanda Harvey are the proud parents to Joey and their other three children. “Nana has another little angel 😇 Joey Iris Harvey,” Marjorie captioned the image on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Some people instantly melted over the photo. Comments that included “Congratulations! Grand babies give you the best love! 😍😍😍😍” and “Yay another bundle of joy😍” were written underneath the image. Somebody also said, “Congrats, another one for you to spoil👣,” while another person mentioned, “Aww my heart. This is so precious!✨.”
Marjorie and her husband Steve Harvey tied the knot in 2007 and have a blended family of seven children. The founder of The Lady Loves Couture blog has three children from two previous marriages in her married daughter Morgan Hawthorne, Jason Harvey, and Lori Harvey.
However, her children took on Steve’s last name shortly after they got married. The 63-year-old comedian has four children from his two previous marriages: Broderick Harvey Jr., Wynton Harvey, and his twins Brandi and Karli Harvey.
The high-profile pair do not have any children together, but they share their six grandchildren. Aside from Jason, Morgan and Karli each have one child of their own. Marjorie and Steve are reportedly spending their shelter-in-place days in their new estate in Atlanta. The home, which was previously owned by media mogul Tyler Perry, is located in Atlanta’s Buckhead community and is more than 34,000 square feet, contains seven bedrooms, and has spa amenities.
