Megan Thee Stallion shares, then deletes, photos of foot injury

The Houston-born rapper shared the graphic photos of her wounded foot on Instagram

Megan Thee Stallion shared pictures of her wounded foot in response to those claiming she lied about getting shot and taunted her about celebrating the success of her hit “WAP” with Cardi B.

Megan took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted a graphic photo of her injured foot, which showed peeled skin and stitches. She revealed the stitches were only just recently removed after being shot last month in an incident involving fellow rapper Tory Lanez.

Megan added that she wanted to use this time to celebrate the success of the song, “WAP.” As theGrio previously reported, the song debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and set a record of 93 million U.S. streams and 125K downloads sold in the week ending Aug. 13.

Megan says she felt it was necessary to respond to the swirl of rumors surrounding the incident, which is still being investigated by police.

“I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1… I usually don’t address internet bullsh*t but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION,” she declared.

This is not the first time that Megan has spoken about the July 12 incident where police arrested Lanez arrested following a disturbance outside a house party in the Hollywood Hills. TMZ reported that there had been an argument inside of an SUV Megan was in and that shots were fired before the car sped off.

The 25-year-old breakout rap star stated on Instagram Live in late July that she had done nothing to deserve being shot and was hurt by the jokes and memes made about her. Reporter DeMicia Imman of theGrio captured some of her remarks.

“It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to go makeup stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot, I didn’t do sh*t,” she said.
