Monday, July 24, 2023

10 a.m.

Committee on Health, Hospitals, and Human Services

Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas.

Agenda:

During this committee meeting, action will be taken on the following bills

Bill No. 35-0081 –An Act repealing and reenacting Title 27, chapter 1, subchapter II(a) to enact the Virgin Islands Telehealth Act, which includes telemedicine and the standards that govern the practice of medicine and the provision of healthcare services using telehealth modalities.

The committee will also receive an operational update from the Hebert Grigg Home for the Aged (HGH) and a follow up update from the St. Thomas East End Medical Center Corporation. Caribbean Kidney Center (CKC) will provide an update on the status of nurse payments for their facility.

BLOCK I

10 a.m. to Noon
