Metro adds new DASH route serving riders in North Hollywood

Los Angeles City Council President Paul Krekorian and LADOT Interim General Manager Connie Llanos joined North Hollywood community leaders to celebrate the launch the newest community DASH route serving riders in North Hollywood on Friday, Dec. 16.

DASH North Hollywood will be a neighborhood circulator service connecting the North Hollywood community to local destinations and to the Metro B (Red) Line North Hollywood Station with buses running every 30 minutes in both directions of a 6.5-mile route and will operate from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-6 p.m.  on Saturdays and Sundays.

Major destinations include Metro B (Red) Line North Hollywood Station, Noho West Shopping Mall, Roy Romer Middle School, Victory Vineland Recreation Center, East Valley High School, and Noho Arts District, officials said in a media release.

“We are making it so that young people of today to make their way around without a car,” said Krekorian, who said the DASH line will help people take advantage of the housing and retail growth in the East Valley.
