Winona Hollins Hauge Named To The Governor’s Washington State Pandemic Task Force

Mount Zion Women’s Ministry is pleased to announce that our workshop and Health Ministry co-leader, Winona Hollins Hauge has accepted an appointment by Governor Jay Inslee to be on the Governor’s Washington State Pandemic Task Force.

Hauge served as health chair for the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs, where she represented the DOH on the Governor’s Council for Reducing Health Care Disparities.

Hauge retired from a career as a manager for Fred Hutchinson and Seattle Children’s Odessa Brown Clinic. She currently serves as a volunteer regional co-leader and co – Chair for the Intercultural Cancer Council Network which represents the national needs of underrepresented populations across the country.  As a part of the MT. Zion Baptist Church family, she volunteers as a rep for the booster and vaccination clinic outreach with the Central Area Senior Center, where she is also a board member.
