Kaizer Chiefs fans have reached boiling point and are scheduling a ‘planned protest’ at Naturena to voice their concerns regarding the way the club is being run.

Kaizer Chiefs are going through arguably one of the worst spells in the club’s 50-year history after having gone five years without a title.

Their current state is almost pitiable with Gavin Hunt’s side sitting just above the relegation zone with just four games to go in the DStv Premiership. The club were humiliated by rivals Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 while minnows Richard’s Bay dumped them out of the Nedbank Cup at the first hurdle.

It’s no secret that Kaizer Chiefs have the largest fan base in the country, and with this comes much expectation. The Amakhosi have been one of the biggest clubs, if not the biggest, in the country for half a century.

Things at Naturena however have spiraled out of control at Kaizer Chiefs over recent years and the once giant of South African football is slowly losing its position.

As shown in recent weeks, teams battling to stay alive in the league like Chippa United and Tshakhuma have happily walked away with a full three points from the Glamour Boys without breaking much of a sweat and fans have now reached boiling point!

Kaizer Chiefs fans are fed up and will now force management to listen to their demands via a scheduled protest with the hope of making the club great again.

The protest which was originally scheduled for 08 May by Kaizer Chiefs fans has been postponed. Amongst the topics fans would like to address with management are the club’s transfer policy as well possible interference in on-field decisions by management.
